Barstool Logo 2D Art

In this assignment, we were asked to work in pairs to collaborate and create a logo of our choice. We chose to create a 2D-3D model of the Barstool logo, a sports company that is very well known.

Our creation features 5 layers, each originally sketched then extruded. After extrusion, the pieces were filleted and compiled to create on smooth piece. The first layer composes the background which is a larger circle that circumscribes the entire image. The following layer is a more textured background with spikes to make the logo more visually appearing. Furthermore, the third layer contains a circular pattern of stars that circumscribe the barstool. On top of the star layer, there is a lightning bolt, and finally, the barstool itself appears on top of all the other layers. Each layer is extruded 0.1cm. In total, the thickness of the figure is 0.5 cm and it happens to fit just outside of a 5 cm x 5 cm square.
