One thing I felt was absolutely missing for 28mm tabletop is a proper, standardized rail system. I checked the model railway scales and decided that 32mm gauge might be the best. Today, I present some basic files for 28mm wargaming, including a straight, bent and stop part for the rails, and a basic model for a train chassis. This is meant to be a basis and not a "full set", but I felt like we needed some basis we can take and create stuff from. I added some of my scrap metal cannons to the models and rendered them, so you could build some cool railway cannons!
We have the basic rail holders (wooden or "normal"), you can put below the "Rails_Straight", "Rails_Bent" or "Prellbock". For the Assembly, you can use the AssemblyHelpers, to glue the rail holders to the rails themselves. Make sure to not glue the end parts if you want them modular.
For the train, you need the MainPart, two Rods, 4 Wheels, and 2 WHeel holders. You can also add the "Prellteil" and add the MainPlatforms you wan
