Who doesn't love some awesome Batarangs? Well now you can print your own from the video game Batman Arkam City (or Knight). For more details and to see the finished prints check out this video: https://youtu.be/Jm9yt5Pf-V4 . Printed them in PLA on my Robo 3D R1. Then my wife did some amazing post processing on them. Her basic steps were:
Step 1: Sand any rough spots
Step 2: Prime with White Plastic Primer
Step 3: Paint with Matte Black Spray Paint
Step 4: Mask off everything but the blades using tape or playdoh
Step 5: Paint Chrome on the blades
Step 6: Assemble and enjoy!

The Batarang comes in 4 parts: 2 blades, a top and a bottom coupler in the middle. The blades press fit onto the bottom and the top press fits on top of those. You may need a little glue to keep the top part on. I used super glue. Just make sure to leave the blades glue free as they are designed to rotate so they can open and close
