After the last flight with my Snapper 7 I realized that my solution with velcro on 3m scotch tape is not very good. My battery was ejected in mid-flight.
So I drew a cage for Snapper's battery in SolidWorks.
I envisaged the place of attachment of the rubber band and the bolt holes at the bottom, so that the cage does not move from the vibrations.
I think it turned out quite well, replacing the battery now occurs faster and the battery is more protected from crashes. Printing takes about 20 minutes. You have to use supports for the best result.
I printed it with PLA but you can use ABS or flexible material.
Tested on Snapper 7, probably suitable for Snapper 6.
File from SolidWorks included, enjoy!
Update 2018.07.03: Added some reinforcements and cutted out a piece for better USB access.
Update 2018.07.04: New photos.
