Those equipments lets you connect AAA or AA size batteries in serial or parallel according to your needs. Thus, you can charge them or connect some other electrical equpments however you need.
You need to use M2 screws to make fine tunning according to little difference of battery brands. Also screws necessary to make wiring between batteries.
