Battle Cherub

Cherub is a classic symbol of purity, peace, and the "higher" parts of the human spirit. Seeing him trade a harp or a bow for a modern firearm feels like a commentary on how our world forces even the most innocent to arm themselves. It speaks to the loss of sanctuary; even the heavens aren't safe from the violence we've created on earth.
