BEAM is a 3D typeface designed to be downloaded and created in which ever way the user sees fit. With technology such as 3D printing and CAM the application of BEAM is endless.
The letter forms can be edited to the users liking, they can be scaled and skewed with in most 3D printing software. Using different materials and colours Beam can be customised to the desired users preference.
BEAM can be printed in a variety of different materials. PLA and ABS may be the most common 3D printing filaments but explore using Flexi-PLA or Trans-PLA to obtain a variety of results.
Please be sure to share your results with me. I would like to see what the possibilities of the typeface are and the variety of results which can be obtained.
letters at 100% scale are 80mm tall but I encourage you to scale both up and down to your liking.
