The original .stl file for the bell had a problem and could not be sliced with some slicers. The replacement file, named BellNew4.stl, appears to work O.K.
This bell was made as an upgrade for the bell at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:281323
The crown on that bell was too light and prone to breaking if swung vigorously. As the height of the crown changes the balance of the bell an appropriate new headstock has been included. This design is published here and has also been included as an option on the earlier bell.
