This is an updated version of Andrei Cotiga's (@acotiga) tool rest for a bench grinder (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2614656)
I found it important to know the precise angle in the x axis that the tool was being ground to. For that reason I added lines and text indicators.
The three lines in the center are all 90 degree to the grinder wheel, assuming the installation is precise. There are graduations for 30 degrees and 60 degrees which are generally needed for grinding lathe and milling tools for thread cutting and other operations.
I have all of these files in Fusion 360 files if anyone is interested or has trouble converting these mesh files into solids.
Also, check out @acotiga's angle setter for the tool rest. I haven't tried this myself yet but any tool that helps you get the right angle is interesting (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2614652)
Thank you @acotiga for the original posts.
Good luck!
