These hooks are great for holding workpieces against your bench, especially for hand tool woodworking. I mainly use them for crosscut sawing small pieces. You can make your own out of wood, but why bother when you can have the printer do it for you? I've included the FreeCAD file so you can modify the design as you see fit. The holes cut in the face are there for aesthetics only.
I printed mine with PETG and they came out really nicely, but they are a bit slippery so it might be worth gluing a little sandpaper to the business ends for extra grip, but it's not strictly necessary. I had considered a textured face to give it a little more grip, but I think it probably wouldn't work all that well and would end up breaking anyway.
