Bender Hobby Knife Holder

I haven't liked the cap on my Fiskars Hobby knife since I got it and wanted a new one as well as a base for my desk to hold the knife. I looked around at a few options and decided to modify Menissalt's original pen holder to do the job.

I had to shrink the design a fair bit and add more of a "head plate". Shrinking it meant there wasn't enough sidewall behind the teeth and eyes so I had to add some material in there to make it clean-up right.

I also designed a "socket" specific to my knife to sit inside bender's head (Pictured alone as a cross-section for reference). It took a couple of revisions to get something I was happy with but this gives a satisfying "click" when my knife is inserted and it holds on just the right amount.
