Revision A.
1. Added stabilizer rods to the z axis due to excessive wobble from the lead screw.
This project was inspired by Root 2 CNC beautiful work done by sailorpete. This CNC machine will replace a previously built CNC called Bertha 2.0. The CNC machine was built with the following modifications:
1. Increased the machine size.
2. Added Nema 23 mounts to accommodate for larger Nema 23 motors.
3. The machine was also modified to fit a standard 1" square tubing purchased from Home Depot or any other hardware stores.
4. Spindle holder was redesigned to accept a 1/4 HP router from Harbor Freight.
The idea behind the project was to build a good CNC machine with readily available materials and a 3D printer. At the time of this write up, I am still building my machine and the only axis that I have working properly is the Y axis. The other axis are awaiting for pulleys and belts.
