Technical Notes & Supports To preserve this high level of detail and successfully print the complex geometry, this model does require a fair amount of supports. The overhangs, such as the girl's chin, her raised arms, and the cat's snout, will need a solid foundation during the printing process. Print recommendations: Support type: We highly recommend using tree supports (or organic supports). They will significantly reduce surface scarring and make the post-processing and removal stage a breeze. Resolution: For FDM printers, a layer height of 0.12mm or 0.16mm is ideal for bringing out the smooth curves. This model is also a perfect candidate for Resin printing (SLA/DLP), which will make every tiny nuance pop. Infill: 10-15% is more than enough.
