From the very beginning I was unhappy with the high camera angle of my Beta 85X HD, which prevented me from slowly flying, e.g. indoors.
@ahpaa has done already a good job with designing a canopy which puts the camera more to the front and makes room to allow adjusting the angle in a quite wide range. However, he didn't finish his design and when trying to use it, I run into several problems.
- The two horns for protecting the camera come into the view for low camera angles
- The frame material is too weak for supporting a third screw hole at the front side
So I have modified his design by cutting the horns, further closing the top side as there is no need for the front screw and by adding a front hook for frame fixation instead of a front screw.
Actually the lowest camera angle is limited by the ducts coming into view. If I would have the source of the design, I would place the camera even more to the front to get rid of this problem. But at least for most cases the camera
