Better Bookmark

I have 3 young kids who are always playing loudly around me. I wanted a bookmark that would hold my earplugs so I could always have them with me. Iteration 1: holes too small, took too long for earplugs to reform size. Not enough friction, would slide out of the book and I'd lose my place all the timeIteration 2: not enough friction still (vertical lines only)Iteration 3: comparable friction to a leather bookmark I have. Made little pyramids all over the surface and it makes for a lot of friction Earplugs i use are free from my work but below is the link to the same ones we get from work.
