Better Skadis board mounting solution

I have run through a few different methods of wall mounting Ikea Skadis boards and all of them annoyed me (none more so than the mounts they come with from Ikea).Since I had more boards to mount I set myself a task of designing a new mounting solution that was easy, accurate, stronger than the factory mounting solution, rigid, simple to level, and could be done solely by one person even if mounting high up on a wall.This resulted in the mount you see here. The block fits snugly into the slot on the skadis board (at least the ones from Ikea) so that you can insert them an then lift the board up to hold it on the wall and check it for level.You can mark through the hole on the blocks to get clean markings on your wall for where you will drill (for inserts or to studs).
