BG-25 Devilcat

The BG-25 was a field refit made to aging KC-25 tankers during the mercenary incursions in the outer rim. It was felt that the gas mining facilities across the rim could not be adequately defended with energy weapons and there were no modern ballistic gunships in production. BG-25s were created to address this need, and continued in service for the remainder of the conflicts. Most were retired after the action as they were quite elderly, but some examples are still in service.
