Bicycle Kickstand Foot

The foot of the kickstand on my bike got lost and left me just with a rod of cast aluminium. This led to the stand sinking into muddy earth and tipping over on sandy srufaces.

The original "foot" looked quite similar, but was made from some sort of black, hard rubber.

This version works just as well. The attached file can be opened with Autodesk Fusion should you need to change the diameter of the rod. The "stripes" on the bottom are supposed to increase grip (which works quite well).

I glued mine to the (cleaned) aluminium rod with epoxy.
