A mundane design. Most all 3D printing I have done over the years has been to make adapters, brackets, and other small utilitarian objects for the home. This falls into that category. I publish the STL files here only because I am sharing the general approach to a problem in a bicycle forum and will reference the 3D printing solution here.
Problem: I bought an ebike. Because I am now a very old man, I opted for a "step-through" model. It is important to lock bicycles when leaving them in a public space. One common modern lock option has the shape of large "U" and when riding is normally attached to the bicycle frame with a bracket. Unfortunately the common mount spot partially blocks the "step through" location, creating the additional hazard of possibly catching your foot in the "U". (Getting old is no fun!) This 3D model replaces a component of the mounting bracket to allow a different mount location.
This component gets clamped around a structural strut of the bicycle and so I pr
