Bimini trailering rest

When trailering a boat with a bimini top attached, the poles can bounce around and scratch the boat. Bimini Trailering Rest to the rescue! This Thing fits onto a rear bimini mount bracket and provides a cradle for the bimini poles to rest in. Photo 1 shows the thing in use. You leave the forward bimini mount points attached, and fold the bimini down onto these rear rests. Print two, one for port and one for starboard side. The two rests will be identical as long as your metal bimini mounting brackets are identical. Photo 2 shows the bimini mounting bracket that I designed for.

If you need to customize for different dimensions of the metal bracket, size of poles, or whatever, the OpenSCAD file is included with variables defining the key dimensions.

Recommend printing with significant infill for strength, I've used 40% cubic. Print upright with supports enabled.
