Bird feeder

I have two cardinal pairs coming every day to the feeders.
Unfortunately they are often chased away by the pigeons/doves.
So I decided to add this small plate for cardinals only.
I fill it with nuts and other seeds the pigeons don't fancy.

The pole is 1/2" in diameter.
The feeder walls are high enough to keep the seeds from spilling.

It is a quick project - a simple sketch in Fusion 360, merely a few circles pulled up to different height/plane.

So far it works ok.
Blue jays and crows of various kinds join cardinals.
Doves are mostly sitting there preventing other birds from eating.
At least there is enough left for the cardinals' to eat at dusk and sometimes even at the down.
