Bird feeder

This is a simple bird feeder. The files include a PDF with assembly instructions.

I found that larger birds couldn't cling to the original feeder base. So I created another version with a perch. I also made a taller version to hold more seed.

And I found that the greatest stability is achieved by using an 18" x 3/32" threaded steel rod instead of a wire or string. The rod is affixed with a nut and washer underneath and on the cone inside the feeder. For a hanger, I looped a small piece of metal perf and held it in place with a nut on the top of the rod.
