Bird house

A fancy little cottage style bird house for small nesting birds such as blue Tits. The entrance hole is 25mm which is perfect size fir birds of this type. The hole is 125mm from the floor which will help protect the young from exiting the house before they are ready. For this model I have opted for PET-G as this is moister resistant but may not last many seasons due to UV damage.For a getter long term item you may wish to opt for ASA as this has better UV resistance. This model is only 2 walls thick and 10% grid infill but you can change any setting to better suite your needs. I have made the walls quite thick I in a hope this will give good air pockets for insulation. The perching post is possibly not the correct height as I took a wild guess but you are free to change the location of the perching post as well as any aspect of the design. The gable end to the roof has been angled back to 7 degrees to add a little aesthetic but it likely adds much protection. Again this could be altere
