Bird Nesting Material Holder

This design is for holding pet fur, hair, and other bird nesting materials. My cats shed a lot, and I wanted to do something useful with the discarded fur.

The Cone features a slot lock mechanism, and the adapter is a blank canvas for any base you need. I added two legs 26.5mm apart so this object could sit on the railing of my balcony.

This is the first design I've ever shared. Happy to hear any suggestions and advice for next time.

The finished dimensions are about 89mm x 89mm x 125mm.

Note: I haven't seen any birds use this yet

Another Note: Please consider if your animal's fur has chemicals from flea or tick treatments (or any other soaps/chemicalsthatch could potentially harm young birds.
