Birdbath Grate

Built a simple water basin with a pump that feeds a central bubbler. I used a galvanized metal screen to create a mesh surface they could stand on while bathing since the basin is about 2' deep. The metal screen wasn't completely flat and was a challenge to clean and it just didn't work well. Created this grate to tightly fit over the 1/2" pipe in the center. The tight fit is enough to hold it in place but also adjust the height. Center riser to give it a bit of extra support. I'll add photos when it's up and in use.
