BL Touch height mounting calibration cube

The BL Touch body is recommended to be installed 8.0mm to 8.5mm higher than the nozzle tip. This cube is exactly 8.25mm. Please check with calipers to make sure your printer printed the height accurately.

Simply print this cube and put it under your bl touch with your bl touch mounting screws semi loose, lower your z axis until your nozzle GENTLY touches the bed. The probe should go through the hole in the cube and the body should hit the top of the cube. Your height is now calibrated and you can tighten your BL Touch mounting screws.

This cube also assumes your bed is at least somewhat level.
