Black Hole

Black holes consume material or stars. The forces involved can fling material into a disk around the object; as light passes around the event horizon it gets bent toward the viewer, allowing us to see a bit of the top and bottom of the disk even while looking at it edge on.
I created this object to capture the phenomenon, and ceiling stars worth the reputation of a nerd.
