Blade's Daywalker Sword (prinatble interlocking sections)

I found this model of Blade’s Daywalker sword. This was the best free version I could find. I made a bunch of modifications for my own printing purposes and wanted to share them.
• I thinned the blade a little as it seemed a little thick to me
• I separated into 4 pieces, Hilt, and blade sections
• I reworked the pieces so they each could fit snugly into the next piece for assembly and stability. (I created blade shaped extensions on each blade part and a slightly larger, identically shaped recess in the corresponding part)
• I also put one large cylindrical hole down the length of the whole sword. The hole worked well for a 3/16 in dowel to provide stability. I used wood and I liked the end product. Metal might provide a little more weight. If anyone tries this let me know what you think.

NOTE: After printing I noticed that the “button” that is used in the film to deactivate Blade’s security measure (prevent he blades from coming out of the hilt and slicing the hand holding it) was
