Design purpose.
The aluminum profile is a common material used by creators for their own DIY 3D printer bodies, and blind holes can make the shape more concise because of its concealment. However, when we drill the blind holes, the positioning of the center of the holes is a very critical step. If the positioning is not accurate, it will make it difficult to build the frame, such as fasteners can not be tightened, the screwdriver being more difficult to remove, and other problems. This further leads to the existence of tolerances in the frame and the accumulation of tolerances in the machine during the subsequent installation of components. Then, such a 3D printer with an unstable foundation will have various unexpected situations.
In order to solve the above situation, I specially designed the punching auxiliary tool, with
Table drill and hand drill can easily complete the blind hole making, and allow a small amount of error. Note: This tool is only applicable to the 2020 aluminum
