This is a bracket to replace broken ones on the blinds on my French doors. The bottom bar of the blinds has a hole in them that the pin on this bracket slots into, and the bracket is screwed to the door with #8 machine screws. The purpose of the bracket is to constrain the bottom end of the blinds so that they don't flail about as much when opening and closing the door.
The existing brackets were made of polycarbonate, and over the years they cracked around the screw holes and broke. I could not find replacements. I looked through every similar bracket that I could find at Lowe's and Home Depot, but they didn't have an exact match so I made one.
The one change that I made on this bracket vs the original is that I made it slightly thicker, and I moved the pin out away from the screw holes a bit. The blinds would catch on the screw head when closing them causing them to stick. This little bit of additional clearance fixed that.
I'm including the OpenSCAD file so that anyon
