Bloom Flower Decoration

BLOOM was designed around the idea of depth through layering — the same principle that makes a real flower compelling when you look at it closely. Each layer reveals something underneath, something smaller and more intricate, until you reach the centre. The mandala format is deliberate: it's a shape that reads as both mathematical and organic at the same time, which is exactly what 3D printing does best. The petal geometry is derived from a half-elliptical swept profile — each petal has a flat underside that sits flush against the base and a curved upper surface that rises and falls along its length, coming to a sharp point at both tips. Arranged in two concentric rings of eight, offset by 22.5° from each other, the petals interlock visually without touching. The centre dome anchors the composition and gives the eye a place to rest.
