After trying and being disappointed by nearly every “bento box” style internal filter for my P1S, I decided to make my own using a fan that actually moves air. The drastically increased airflow through the filter and carbon help reduce the toxic fumes that escape the enclosure. This filter box is designed to use a 120mm blower style fan (wired to the 24V printer power supply), the standard HEPA filter (80x40mm) and 4mm carbon pellets. I added a thermal switch that automatically turns the fan on when the chamber temp gets to 40C when I'm preheating for ABS. The pieces were printed in Bambu PETG HF. Then assembled using 12x6x3mm Magnets for the main stack and M3 screws and heat inserts mounting the fan and spreader to the blower mount. To install into the printer, place the bottom piece into the “L” indent in the floor and use a M3 screw to secure it, then add your other pieces!
