A diorama based on the Blue Area of the moon as seen in various Marvel Comics.
This isn't meant to be duplicated but maybe it can provide ideas and parts for a similar sci fi display.
The bulk of it is made from the foam packaging from a 3D printer and other products.
I suggest a strong two sided tape (no foam) to join large flat pieces together and tacky glue for smaller bits.
You can also back it with a sheet of foam board for added stability. I used acrylic paint mixed with modge podge to coat it.
Depending on the shape of the foam and the added details you can create a sci-fi city or ancient stone temple.
The groundcover is a mat made by coating a piece of canvas drop cloth with a blend of latex caulk, acrylic paint, isopropyl alcohol and sand.
Note:
The "Atlas" balconies are from the 2002 Spider-man movie Mary Jane figure.
The upper platform with railing is made with pieces from an unknown building toy.
