This is an effector I designed for my scratch built delta printer the 'Blue Unicorn'. While the effector ring can easily be disconnected at the magnetic joints for the rods, it can be further disassembled allowing for reuse of the effector ring with different hot-ends. Keep on the look-out for a dual extrusion set-up!
There are two versions of the effector. With version 2 the accessory mounts are raised by about 5mm to give a little more clearance between the accessory and the part you are printing. Spacing for the magnetic joints is 45mm center to center. Please check out the parts list below. Also, all of these parts can be purchased on Aliexpress.com
Effector Non-Printed Parts List:
6-M4 x8 hex head bolts
6-10mm threaded balls, M4 thread
3-8mm x 8mm Round Neodynium Magnets
60mm LED light ring
Inductive Sensor (optional)
Hot-End Holder Non-Printed Parts List:
3-8mm x 8mm Round Neodynium Magnets
4-M3 x 5mm brass inserts
4-M3 x 12mm
