BMG for MINI

This is a BMG extruder for the Prusa MINI. There are several others posted, but there was something wrong with each of them, and none of them had CAD geometry available. I ended up taking the STEP files from the "Bondtech BMG MarcoZ76 Edition" and designing from there. There's actually not much of it left.

The idler door part is unedited. I was using the molded part that came with the standard BMG clone that I bought. I never printed it.

The extruder exit is threaded for some supposedly PC4-M10 fittings I had. It's not actually a standard M10 thread. It was some sort of tapered thread that I determined and subsequently forgot. If it doesn't match yours, you'll need to edit either the STEP or Fusion 360 source files.

I didn't end up using this for long, but it assembled easily and fit nicely on the printer. The BMG clone I bought was cheap, and the gears were quite noisy. The were noisy in the molded housing and still noisy in this housing. I fixed the problem I was having by r
