BMT45 tool holder storage rack

Storage rack socket for BMT45 lathe, live & static tools
Didn't like how the tools not in the turret were being stored and decided to design a better solution.

Made intentionally a loose fit so they were easy to put in and take out. Through hole is for live tools. Static tools seem to fit quite well also and the ends of the bolts drop into the holes which locate them nicely.

Could easily be machined if preferred as they have fairly basic geometry. The design is for the holder section only, you will need a rack / shelf / cart / something to put these in. I had some bent 3mm steel sheet laying around which I used. The rack design was driven by the material I already had on hand, they are spaced 127.5mm (3 wide) & 100mm (4 deep). Probably wouldn't want to go much closer than this as some of the tools overhang a bit.

Basic footprint dimensions are provided, securing holes were designed for M5 SHCS's, can either drill & tap holes M5, or through drill and use a nut underneath. 51mm
