BMW 1 Series Cup Holder (E81 E82 E87 E88)

My E81 has one cup holder to serve the whole car, which is a design flaw from BMW... The F20 model's come with cup holders in the door pockets.

I designed this cup holder based on a medium soft-drink from Mcdonalds as I know this would be the drink that the cup holder would see the most. It's designed to sit on the door pockets as this was the place where it would get knocked the least, with its slide-on slide-off design, it enables you to easily stow it away in the glove compartment when it's not being used.

I applied a silicone pad to the bottom of the holder to eliminate any vibrations from the road surface and cans etc. My passengers have been using this for a year now and had no problems whatsoever.
