The prompt for this project was to create something with a joint!
Where I could have just made a ball and socket joint and called it a day, I decided to take it to the next level; and what better usage of a joint than to make an automatic BOI machine!
With its sleek design and tight fitting ball joint, the BOI machine can be flicked back to prime the BOI, and then flicked forward to decimate your foes and obliterate anyone it your path. Calling out bruh moments and causing anyone that does anything abnormal turn to dust!
I created this by sketching out a ball and socket, arm, and hand. After the sketches were finished I rotationally extruded the joint and the arm, while vertically extruding the hand on both sides. I then used a side facing sketch and extruded the lines to cut the hand's rough shape with splines. All that was left after that was to refine the edges with fillet's and chamfer's.
