This is my 9th series of 3D printed model rockets. Compared to the BR-7 and (unpublished) BR-8 this rocket can hold a rocket motor of 29 mm wide by 128 mm long. The largest motor possible to buy from Estes rockets. Adapters are provided to utilize motors as small as D-11 (24x70 mm), while the rocket has been tested repeatedly with E-16 and F-15 motors (29x114 mm).
The rocket has screw together parts of 50 mm diameter, no glue required. It is recommend to print most parts at 20% infill and wall thickness of 0.4 mm, but sub-components like the screws and couplings ends and inner motor holder should be printed at 100% infill. To allow for printing different sub-components I use the .3mf files with Cura, the final .gcode is provide as well for my Ender-3 printer. The original Rhino models I draw up are also provided. I provided one .stl version of a part, but I never use that as .3mf is superior in every way.
