Description The Brachio Lamp is a 3D printed night light in the design of a cute brachiosaurus dinosaur. The light can be dimmed in four steps and another function is a pulsing/breathing light to help getting to sleep. All functions are accessible via touch buttons on the back and everything is controlled by an Arduino Nano. The power supply comes thru USB-C. The front cover can be printed in transparent or glow in the dark filament and makes clever use of 3D printing features such as fuzzy skin for the outer case and Hilbert curve top/bottom fill to provide an equal scattering of the light with the front diffusor. The Brachio Lamp can be printed nearly without supports and except for one of the base plate designs without a multi color system too. Specs material: PLA in different colors size: approx. 270mm × 110mm × 185mm (w × d × h) overall printing time: approx. 7h30m + 3h40m to 17h30m depending on the style of the base board build and assembly time: approx. 3–4 hours costs: approx. 10–15€ for the hardware approx. 7–10€ for PLA filament approx. 10€ USB-C power supply incl. wire Material (details see manual) 1 Arduino Nano 1 USB-C power PCB 3 capacitive touch sensor modules: TTP223 1 MOSFET: IRLZ44N, 55V 47A 110W, TO-220AB 1 resistor: 10kΩ, 0.25W 1 stripboard: 9 rows (connected) × 16 columns ≈ 23mm × 41mm approx. 720mm LED strip: COB, warm white, 480LEDs/m, 12V, 5W/m, 3mm wide some wires 2 heat-set inserts, M4×6mm 2 screws, M4×12mm 2 washers, 4.3mm×20mm 1 USB-C power supply (25W, PD3.0, not all provide the right power) and USB-C wire hot glue superglue black isolating tape Code You can download the Arduino code here: https://gist.github.com/tweh/831e45cb3809fb393a9c38293a35e0ed
