My bread maker is a Hamilton Beach machine that can make 2 lb loaves. The proportions of this slicer are set up for the bread it produces. The inside width is 6.5", the length of the cutting bed is 6.75" and the height from the top of the bed to the top of the slicer is 5.7". Scaling in X, Y, or Z to fit different sized loaves is encouraged. This model is only set up to cut two slices at a time; the slice closest to the wall will be about .50" in size and the second slice will be about .58". The thicker slice is great for when spreads are applied as they give more area to absorb. After cutting, the slices will need to be removed before making additional cuts. It is recommended to use four wall loops, a 0.42 line width, and a .25 layer height, especially since the base of the knife guides had been the weak point in previous iterations.
