Breakdown Crane - Brio Compatible

This breakdown crane and accompanying jib carrier are here to help any broken down trains. They are compatible with Brio, Ikea, and most other wooden trains.   Parts List (crane): 4x M2 cap head screws 6-12mm length 4x M2 washers 2x 10x4x3mm ring magnets 2x 10mm diameter metal push pins 1x M3  cap head screw 12-20mm length for main pivot 1x M3  cap head screw 14-16mm length for boom pivot 1x 8mm section of filament for hook pivot 1x 6mm x3mm round magnet A touch of CA glue Parts List (jib carrier): 4x M2 cap head screws 6-12mm length 4x M2 washers 2x 10x4x3mm ring magnets 2x 10mm diameter metal push pins 1x M3 cap head screw 5mm length A touch of CA glue Printing Instructions (crane): Print 4 wheels, flat side down Print one base piece, upside down orientation, some supports are required. Print one each hook, core and cab, no supports are required. Print one boom on its side for strength, some supports are required. Print one platform, some supports are required. Printing Instructions (jib carrier): Print 4 wheels, flat side down Print one base piece, upside down orientation, some supports are required. Print one body, some supports are required. Or if your bridging ability allows for it, it can be printed on its side or upside-down without supports. Assembly (Crane) The wheels are each secured to the base with an M2 cap head screw, with a washer in-between the wheel and the base. Don't over tighten the wheels, they should spin freely and even have a bit of wiggle.  The core slides into the cab with the smoke stack coming out of the top. A drop or two of glue will hold it in place. The boom is secured to the cab with an M3 screw. Press fit the 6mm round magnet into the hook. Again, I would recommend a bit of glue. Use the section of filament as a pin to attach the hook. The holes in the boom should be snug, if they are too tight to pass a piece of filament they can be reamed with a small drill bit. Secure the cab assembly to the platform with the remaining M3 screw.
