I have been printing a lot of panels for a box I am making and was really tired of trimming off brims and having it look bad. So I designed this little planer to help cleanly remove brims from a print.
It takes a bit of practice to use it, just like a wood planer :)
I put the planer on the table and inserted the X-Acto straight blade in. It requited a M2 x 6mm screw and washer to secure. Then when planing, use consistent passes very gently at a slight angle. I pull off as much of the brim as possible but for that last little bit I like using this more than scraping off with a razor.
Hope it helps someone, feedback welcome :)
