BRN-180 Handguard

Semi-retro handguard for gen 2 and gen2.5 BRN-180 [devices] with the full-length aluminum handguard. Think "alternate reality where the AR180 was adopted as a service [device] over the M16 and this is the A2 version of it", if you want the rundown of the aesthetics I was going for.

This design is a little wider than the bare handguard to allow for a reasonably comfortable thumb-forward grip that keeps your fingers away from any aluminum parts of the [device], in case it gets hot. The front tapers to allow for your exaggerated tacticool operator c clamp grip, if that's your style (though I'm betting if you're looking at this, it more than likely is not).

Print both the "F" and "R" files. Slot both pieces together, then drop in directly to the Mlok slots, bolts in with TWO Mlok nuts & screws.If your Mlok screws have a taper, I recommend printing a pair of the washers to prevent them from splitting the handguard across the layer lines (if printed standing).
