The standard chain guard from Brompton is not safe: thin pants can get caught in it and the chain can slip. This is because the standard chain guard is tapered on the inside, creating a gap.
This model closely replicates the standard chain guard, with the difference that it is not tapered on the inside, so thin pants are less likely to get caught.
When printing, you should make sure that the screw mounting domes and the area below it are printed solid (infill = 100%, 50% infill is enough for the chain ring). I printed it with PLA (see pictures).
For a smoother outer surface, it is important to smooth the glue on the print bed with water so that it does not create patterns.
