Broomstick Thread

Thread adapter designed for 3D Printing. Useful with brooms, paint rollers, mops, plungers, and other tools. In some reading I found this called an ACME thread. With many variations - I matched this to my parts instead of matching it to a design spec =) Model is fairly parametric. Adjust the thread dimensions to get the result you need! Explore the two configurations in SOLIDWORKS for an idea of how to change the geometry. Challenge: can you design a robotic tool using the common parts shown in the photos?
