Brother pattern selector gear

I have an older brother xl3207 sewing machine that has run great, but recently has been unable to change patterns due to a cracked gear. I'm guessing this may be a common issue with machines of this age and unfortunately it seems the replacement part is no longer available.Thank goodness for 3d printing!
You'll have to remove the broken gear and shaft, and it's a bit of a pain that requires the removal of a bunch of stuff to get the selector mechanism out.
Pry the old gear off the shaft and you will see the end has a slightly smaller diameter and some small splines. Heat this end of the shaft a bit (I used a butane torch) and press it into the gear with a small vise until it bottoms out, and you should be good to go.
I used nylon to print the gear, and I think this part was likely used in a number of other brother machines.
