What?YouTube videos seem to often tell me that cleaning my paintbrush on a piece of paper towel is a bad idea. Or at least, I think that is what they say. Something about drying out your brush? So what if instead of a dry piece of towel you use a thin, wet sponge? Surely that is better, right? How?Cut a piece of cleaning sponge with some scissors. I bought this thin stuff at Walmart. Great Value branded sponge cloths. According to the package they are soft and non scratch to boot!Does it work?I have no idea. So I thought I would try and see if it would work. I have tried using my “prototype” on my last few painting sessions and so far this seems to work pretty well. Wet the sponge (try not to get it soaked) and it seems to work great for helping clean up the brush after without drying everything out.– Note – This does not work for my dry brush the way Artis Opus uses his sponge. It holds enough water to still soak the brush and that just doesn't do.Should you try?I am hoping that i
