My wife has a lot of cosmetic brushes. From time to time she has to wash and dry them. This holder helps in this task as it keeps the brushes organized in vertical position with the tip pointing down. Plenty of holes of different diameter for smaller and larger brushes' sizes.
I made it some time ago and I don't remember the printer settings. Sorry for that.
Some pieces are quite large and need to be flat so ensure good adherence to the printing bed.
Extra materials:
- some glue
- EVA foam
- a cutter
- a pencil
Steps:
1) Print the parts.
2) Put the foam on a table. Put one of the part with the holes over the foam.
3) With a pencil draw all the edges and holes of the part in the foam.
4) Remove the printed part and cut off a rectangle of foam. It should be the same size as the printed part.
5) Cut 3 inner crossing lines connecting the opposite vertices of each hexagon in the foam.
6) Make a nice sandwich with the two printed parts and the foam in the middle. Glue it
