I was tired of shifted layers when printing PETG because the stuff likes to creep up on the nozzle just to fall off as a big drop at a later point.
I noted somebody on the internet made something like this and I thought that's just the thing I'll need. My printer was original an Anet A8 but is now heavily modded with all kind of diy upgrades. However, with this little upgrade I can clean my nozzle on every layer and have the most beautiful PETG prints ever. I'm using the dirt cheap brass wire brushes from Harbor Freight for about $2 bugs as you can see in the picture, now I found a 30 pack of those at Amazon for $15 USD.
I added the Fusion 360 file in case somebody would like to change something around.
